HERNDON, VA (October 5, 2016) – NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has recognized Carly Glova, president and executive recruiter, Building Careers, LLC, with its prestigious 2016 Developing Leaders Award.
“We are pleased to recognize Carly Glova with the NAIOP San Diego chapter for her remarkable abilities, accomplishments and leadership in commercial real estate,” said Thomas J. Bisacquino, president and CEO of NAIOP. “Her valuable contributions help shape a strong industry and create vibrant communities in which to work, live and play.”
After nearly 10 years in commercial real estate finance, Glova founded an executive search firm serving the CRE industry. She serves as president and executive recruiter, using her experience in the real estate industry to help employers find and retain top-tier talent. Glova previously worked as an associate, real estate finance, for BioMed Realty Trust.
One of 21 young professionals to receive NAIOP’s honor this year, Glova was honored before hundreds of industry colleagues at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, September 27, at NAIOP’s Commercial Real Estate Conference 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award has been given to rising industry professionals from across NAIOP’s chapter network in all sectors of commercial real estate. Recipients are professionals under the age of 35 who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and show great promise as future industry leaders.
