SAN DIEGO (December 12, 2016) – NAIOP San Diego, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, will install Cushman Wakefield Managing Director Dennis Visser as its 2017 president.

            During 2017, Visser and the NAIOP Board of Directors will continue to promote and develop NAIOP San Diego as the region’s premier commercial real estate association through

·         Value-added networking and educational opportunities;

·         Developing Leaders & Mentorship program;

·         The ever-popular university challenge, tasking local university real estate student teams against each other to devise a development proposal;

·         Philanthropic initiatives, including NAIOP San Diego’s ongoing support for local U.S. Marines; and

·         Influencing legislative affairs that affect the commercial real estate industry.

            “Our goal for NAIOP San Diego in 2017 is to reinforce our reputation as the premier commercial real estate organization by providing our members and sponsors with unparalleled networking and business opportunities, educational programming, industry trend information and bringing awareness to those legislative affairs which affect our industry,” said Visser.
